Why you should book a Virtual Consultation.

  • What is a consultation? Why are they beneficial? What are the steps?

A consultation is a 1 on 1 call with me, your skincare professional, that goes over your skin health to reach your skin goals with clinical grade skincare recommendations, and professional skincare treatments.

Just like working out in the gym, results are 80% of what you do at home and 20% in the treatment room.

Yes, treatments are important but your homecare is what solidifies what happens in the treatment room. With consistent use of clinical grade skincare, you are able to maintain and accelerate your results.

  • How should I prepare for my Virtual Consultation?

Well first, get excited because starting your fresh face journey is going to be sooo worth it!

Once you book your consultation, you will fill out a Client Consultation form that introduces me to your skin, your lifestyle, your health, and other contributing factors that impact your skin’s health.

You will also provide me with your current skincare routine and we’ll determine what’s working or what may need to be updated based on your skin type and skin concern.

  • What should I do after my consultation?

    • Purchase the recommended products or skincare treatment based on your skin type and concerns and follow the recommend skincare routine.

    • Be sure to schedule a complimentary follow-up call in 4 weeks to discuss your progress.

  • How often should I receive a consultation??

We usually schedule once consultation and then a complimentary follow-up call to discuss your progress. I can always be reached for any questions, comments, or concerns about recommendations.

  • What products do you recommend I use?

Because everyone’s skin is different, what works for someone else may not work for you and vice versa. It’s important to use products that are formulated for your skin type (dry, oily.. etc.) and to try your new skin care routine for at least 6 weeks before giving up on them (unless skin becomes irritated).

I am able to provide product recommendations once we’ve gone through your consultation and skin analysis.

  • What products do you recommend?

I recommend mostly Skinscript and other clinical grade products as they are an award winning professional brand who uses clinical grade result driven products at an affordable price.

  • What should my routine look like?

The basics of a routine consist for:

    Dry Skin

a gentle or hydrating cleanser - a hydrating toner - hydrating moisturizer with spf

less exfoliation and more hydration. put down the salicylic, glycolic, and witch hazel if there is no active acne. switch to hyaluronic acid, cucumber, or rosewater.

    Oily Skin

a foaming or glycolic cleanser, a hydrating toner, a light weight moisturizer with spf

depending on the oil production of the skin, more exfoliation may be needed but that doesn’t mean skip the hydration and moisture (your natural oils will thank you!)

    Acne

a foaming cleanser with salicylic, glycolic, or benzoyl peroxide, exfoliating toner, light weight moisturizer and spf

acne can be triggered by a number of things like stress, environment, diet, or using the wrong products, it’s important to be patient with yourself and skin. keep your skin clean, and hydrated and not to pick at any breakouts because it could leave scarring. leave extractions to the professionals. Pimple patches work wonders. Cystic acne is usually caused by hormonal changes in teens, hormonal changes or imbalances in adults, processed meats, cheese, dairy, and sugar, or the menstrual cycle. Benzoyl peroxide cleansers are great for treating cystic acne

    Combination Skin

is it a combo of oily and dry? or normal and oily? or normal and dry? whichever the case, your cleanser should say “FOR (INSERT YOUR SKIN TYPE HERE)“ Unsure of your skin type? Book an appointment which comes with a consultation and analysis to determine your skin type
